Review of Le Bon Accueil: A Family-Friendly Getaway in the French JuraDuring our recent family vacation at Le Bon Accueil, we experienced the charm of this family-owned hotel nestled in the scenic upper Doubs region near Pontarlier. The hotel features an inviting atmosphere perfect for families, with modern, clean rooms that comfortably accommodated us. One highlight was the winter activities. We ventured out for snowshoeing and explored the trails together, allowing us to bond as a family amidst the beautiful snow-capped landscapes. We enjoyed cross-country skiing, which was ideal for all ages, creating joyful memories as we navigated the trails. Dining at the Michelin 1-star restaurant was a treat—just a short walk from our room. While our previous meals here were really good, this time I felt the menu had lost some creativity. Nevertheless, the local dishes were well-prepared, and the affordable wine selection still impressed us. Service was friendly but could improve in attentiveness. We look forward to visiting again and hope for enhanced dining experiences in the future.
